Hello,

I am Sergey

Nice to meet you or welcome back! I’m very glad to see everybody who is inspired with Mathematics or ... perhaps not... yet...

Bio

After years in science (see Sergey Saprykin's research works) in the USA and UK in the area of mathematical modeling of engineering problems in 2010 I left Imperial College University and dedicated my life to education. It wasn't an abrupt change as even during my school years while participating in maths Olympiads I had been a teacher assistant for a younger age groups of Enrichment Maths classes. During my undergraduate years I was working at a school as a teacher for extracurricular Maths Classes and  I teach Maths throughout my life.

Since establishing my educational business in London I have been running   or participating in organizing a number of school curriculum orientated classes as well as events to inspire pupils   to do mathematics. Most popular of them been Tournament of Towns, Open Maths Olympiad “Otkrytka”, Maths Olympiad “Vertical” and of course team competition “Maths Battles” which involved not only leading UK schools (St Paul's Girls' and St Paul's Boys', City of London for Girls’ and others)  but even international team.

While most of my teaching time is usually dedicated to private one-to-one lessons I am always happy to work with a group since quite often children are better inspired to do Maths together. In 2014 together with Anastasia Stone we co-founded the London School of Mathematics and Programming in which I also have been tutoring on Saturday and Sundays during the Academic Year for 6 years.
